Referrals

How it works

Every member can hold a referral code. When someone joins with your code and pays for a membership, you get a share of what they paid. You get it every time they pay, for as long as they keep paying.

There is a second level. When a member you referred refers someone else, you get a smaller share of that person's payments too. Nothing is paid deeper than that.

The live rates are shown on the Referrals window. At launch they are 3% for the people you refer and 2% for the people they refer. The rates can change. A change applies to payments made after it.

Your code and link

1. Press Referrals in the header.
2. Press Get my code. Your code looks like WAZI-K7PM3XQ2. You get one code and it does not change.
3. Press Copy next to the code or next to the share link. The link is https://wazi.app/?ref=YOURCODE.

Send the link or the code to anyone. A person who opens the link and signs in has your code applied by itself. A person who has the code can type it in.

Using a code

If someone gave you a code, apply it before your first payment. Open Referrals in the header or use the box on the payment screen. Type the code under Have a referral code? and press Apply.

The window then shows who referred you. A code is applied one time. You cannot change it later.

A referral code is not a promo code. A promo code adds free days. A referral code links you to the member who referred you. If a discount for referred members is on, the price on the payment screen shows it.

What you earn

The share is worked out from the amount the member paid, after any discount. Here is an example with a $45 plan at the launch rates.

The Referrals window shows your figures: how many people you referred, how many are paying, what you earned this month and in total, what has been paid out and your balance. It also lists the people you referred, what they paid and a table by month.

Only paid memberships count. Free trials, promo codes and days added by the Wazi team earn nothing.

Payouts

Payouts are made by hand in USDC on Solana. When your balance reaches $10, ask in the Wazi Discord and give the wallet address you want paid. The Referrals window lists every payout you have received.

Caution: Give a Solana wallet address that can hold USDC. A payout sent to a wrong address cannot be recovered.

Things to know

• You cannot use your own code.
• Each account can have one referrer. The first code applied is the one that counts.
• A code applies before your first payment. After you have paid, a code cannot be applied.
• A member you referred cannot refer you back.
• Your share continues only while the member keeps paying. If they stop, it stops.
• The Wazi team can pause the scheme or stop a code if it is misused.
