Alerts
An alert tells you when a coin starts to meet your rules. Alerts arrive in the app and in your Discord messages.
Set your rules
Press Alerts in the header. Tick the rules you want under Ping me when.

The first line of the panel has two settings.
- All: a coin must meet all ticked rules at the same time.
- Any: each ticked rule sends its own alert.
Only tokens that pass my filters is ticked at the start. With it, a coin must also match your board filters.
Each row has an i button that explains it.
When an alert is sent
Wazi sends an alert at the moment a rule becomes true. A coin that already met the rule when you opened the page does not send one.
Same token again after sets how long Wazi waits before the same coin can alert you again. The choices are 30 minutes and 1, 3, 6, 12 or 24 hours. It starts at 3 hours. This one setting applies to the app and to Discord.
In the app
An alert appears as a small card at the corner of the page for 12 seconds. Click it to open the coin. The last 20 alerts are under Recent in the panel.
- Beep plays a sound. Test plays it now. A browser plays no sound until you click the page one time.
- Also when this tab is in the background shows a system notification when wazi.app is open in a tab you do not look at. The browser asks for permission.
Alerts in the app arrive only while wazi.app is open.
In Discord
The Wazi bot can send the same alerts to your Discord messages. They arrive when wazi.app is closed too.
- Set one or more filters on the board (see Search, sort and filters).
- In the Alerts panel, turn on Send alerts to my Discord DMs.
- In Discord, permit direct messages from members of the Wazi server.
Caution: Set a filter first. With no filter on the board, Wazi sends nothing to Discord.
You can also control alerts from Discord. Only you see the replies.

Discord alerts have three limits.
- A coin must always match your board filters.
- Wazi sends 6 alerts a minute and 20 an hour at most. It does not keep the others for later.
- Hidden tokens and blocked devs do not apply. Those lists stay in your browser.
Fomo follows
When an author you follow writes a thesis, Wazi sends an alert with the text. This alert does not use your rules or your filters. In Discord you get 20 of these an hour at most.
Messages about your membership
The Wazi bot also sends you a Discord message when your trial starts and when days are added to your access. These messages arrive when alerts are off too.
If no alert arrives
- The coin met the rule before you opened the page or before you changed the rule.
- The coin alerted you less than your Same token again after time ago.
- All is set and one ticked rule is not true.
- The coin does not match your filters.
- The switch at the top of the panel is Off.
- In Discord: no filter is set or the bot cannot message you. Permit direct messages from the Wazi server. Then type
/alerton.
