Fomo theses

A thesis is a short note that a fomo.family member writes about a coin they hold. Wazi counts the theses on each coin.

The badge

The Fomo column shows the fomo logo and one number. The number is the total of theses the coin has on fomo. A coin with no thesis has no badge.

ColourMeaning
PlainThe coin has theses.
Green3 or more different people wrote a thesis in the last 24 hours and the market cap is below $1M. The dev of the coin does not count.
GoldA person you follow wrote a thesis on this coin in the last 24 hours.

Read the theses

Click a badge. The list shows the theses from the last 24 hours, newest first, 40 at most.

The theses on one coin. Authors are blurred here.

Each thesis shows the author, the time, the text and three figures where fomo gives them.

  • holds: the value of the coin that the author holds.
  • The percent: the profit or loss of the author on the coin.
  • written at: the market cap when the author wrote the thesis.

Note: The badge counts all theses the coin ever had. The list holds the last 24 hours only. A badge of 40 with a short list is normal.

Follow an author

  1. Click a fomo badge.
  2. Press Follow beside the name of the author.

When that author writes a new thesis, the badge of the coin turns gold and Wazi sends you an alert (see Alerts). You can follow 50 authors.

To see or remove the authors you follow, press Alerts in the header and go to fomo follows. You can also type a fomo handle there.

The Fomo list

Fomo in the controls bar lists the coins on the board with the most theses in the last 24 hours. The list holds 50 coins at most.

The list covers the coins on your board only. Fomo can have theses on coins that are not on the board.

How Wazi counts

  • Wazi checks fomo for new theses every 30 seconds.
  • Wazi counts each thesis once.
  • If an author posts the same text again, fomo makes a new thesis. Wazi counts it as a new one.
  • Wazi keeps the text of a thesis for 24 hours.
